Fall Drinks to Share

Hot and Cold Drinks to Share with a Friend
It’s too hot outside today to even be thinking about fall. But school has started and football has started. Well it’s only scrimmages so far, but that counts in Texas.
We all know that fall is going to be here. Maybe not soon but a girl can dream! Texas fall can come all at once or not at all. It can also happen over the course of one day. That’s our crazy weather here but I wouldn’t trade it.
Fall means new drinks to share with friends. We like richer flavors and it’s time for a change. This list isn’t going to have cocktails on it, just drinks that you and a friend should sit and sip. We’ve got some iced ones for those days when the weather isn’t cooperating and we’ve got some hot ones to drink around the campfire. Whether you want tart and sparkly or rich and creamy, we’ve got you covered.
I know that fall brings my favorite flavors – pumpkin (yeah), apple, peach and caramel. Caramel drizzle tastes amazing on almost anything and fall seems like a good excuse to start adding it. To everything. And cinnamon. Yummy.
Let me know which are your favorites when you get to the bottom. I think that some of them have to be made just to get those amazing instagram worthy photos of them. Eye candy is what I’d call those.

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake
Recipe by Salty Canary
Pumpkin is the flavor of fall. It’s one of my favorite flavors and our family definitely eats it year round, but more so in the fall and winter. Also, can you take a minute to look at the garnishes on these milkshakes? Seriously fun mini slices of pumpkin pie! This recipe is worth making just to add these fancy garnishes.

Apple Cider Float
Recipe at Domestically Blissful
These are the perfect recipe for a steamy fall day and they use fall’s bounty of Apples! (Or rather apple cider). Using sparkling cider is also a nice change from so many of the creamy fall drinks. These are perfect for an afternoon party.

Pomegranate Lime Spritzer
Recipe at Purely Katie
Remember the pomegranate? I think the pomegranate might be the left out fruit of the season. It’s great for this time of year and you can purchase the juice at your local grocery store. This is a quick and easy fall flavored drink. Of course I love anything sparkling so this one fits the bill for me.

Apple Pie Punch
Recipe by The Cookie Rookie
Who doesn’t love Apple Pie? Fall is definitely time for apples and this recipe gives you that nice tart and smooth flavor.

Caramel Brulee Coffee
Recipe by Foxes Love Lemons
Everyone in our house drinks coffee. Not just in the morning, we usually have a pot in the morning and another in the afternoon. When the whole family is here it’s multiple pots all day. So bring on the flavored coffee drinks. Yep, we love them all. And give us an excuse to add toppings to our coffee!

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
Recipe by Cooking Classy
This recipe combines all the yummy things – caramel and chocolate. It’s a rich flavor combination and perfect for a campfire and to share with your friends. I will be drinking it in the evening before bed because it’s a dessert drink for me.

Almond Milk Chai Latte
Recipe by The Foodie Teen
Chai tea is a warm and spicy blend that’s delicious even without all the added spices. The spices definitely give this drink more of a cozy factor for fall though. The Almond Milk also makes this a nice creamy drink that’s dairy free.

Pumpkin Spice Latte
Recipe by Inspired Taste
No fall drink list could be complete with the Pumpkin Spice Latte. If you’ve never tried making your own you are definitely missing out. The key to the best PSL is using fresh or canned pumpkin. I promise you, you’ll never want to drink one any other way after you try it. I just thought I liked pumpkin spice until I tried this one.
Now my list is sorted into cooler and warmer so I have an actual order to sample all these. I’d better get started!
