How to Make a Margarita Pie
In my book there’s no better meal than Mexican Food! In our house we celebrate Taco Tuesday, Tamale Thursday and guacamole any day. Cinco de Mayo is another holiday that gives us a good reason to drink Margarita’s and eat Mexican Food. I’m sharing with you a super easy recipe that we received years ago. We love this Margarita Pie because it has a great combination of salty and sweet and since it’s made without any alcohol it’s a great dessert for the whole family. This one is quick to make and quick to set, and best of all you don’t have to turn the oven on. We juice limes and oranges but you can just as easily substitute store bought lime juice and orange juice for ease.

Margarita Pie Recipe:
For the Crust:
1 Cup Crushed Pretzels
1/4 Cup Crushed Graham Crackers
1/2 Cup Butter softened
2 Tbs Sugar
For the Filling:
1/4 Cup Lime Juice
1/4 Cup Orange Juice
1 Tbs Lime Peel
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz)
1 Tub of Whipped Topping (8 oz)
For the crust, crush the pretzels and graham crackers in a plastic bag. Mix with butter and sugar in a bowl and then press into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.
For the filling, mix juices , lime peel and milk together. Fold whipped topping into the mix. Spoon into the crust and refrigerate until set. At least 30 minutes.
